Gasper Cottage

An enclosed garden, sheltered by a beech hedge, is densely planted with perennials spilling over the stone paths. The garden opens out with a deep curved border, with paths winding through, surrounding a lawn. In front of the house, a cloud-pruned Osmanthus and box add structure to borders filled with grasses and long-flowering perennials and beyond the view of richly wooded hills 

Forest Lodge

The garden at Forest Lodge is beautifully designed with Lutyenesque terraces, descending in curves to a circular lawn, pleached hornbeams framing a rill and a large pond, all complemented with high quality planting. By the house, rose and perennial-filled borders line the terraces informal walks around the pond are planted with acid-loving plants.

Stavordale Priory

This is a garden of outdoor rooms, topiary, stone walls and “tapestry-style” planting. Structure is provided by tightly clipped box shapes and topiary yews with beds overflowing with richly-coloured perennials. This is a garden of atmosphere and great horticultural passion.
